Weekly Outfit Recap #5

I have been reeeeaaaaallly craving fall, so I have been trying to incorporate fall styles into my end-of-summer wardrobe. But it hasn’t been easy because it’s been really hot! Hopefully, over the next two weeks, I’ll be snapping outfit pics that contain booties and these sneakers I just ordered! I cannot wait to get my hands (er, feet) on (in) them!!

For now, enjoy the following summer outfits. You can totally customize them with jackets, cardigans, jeans, and closed-toed shoes to make them more fall!

You can explore my looks via the links in the text or at the bottom of the post. Links are affiliate.

We went shopping for some fine china and everyday dishes on Labor Day, and I wanted to look extra festive. So I topped a USA logo tee over the Old Navy dress I shared in this post.

Look #2

I am in love with these jeans! They are super comfortable, but I bought them because of the fun acid wash! And you can get them for $24 right now using code SWEET.

Fit tip: I bought the regular length because I don’t mind the cropped look, but I have really long legs and may go for a long length for winter. Waist fits true-to-size and is mid-rise.

Look #3

Here is another casual summer outfit for you. You can totally make it a fall outfit, for sure! Just change the shoes and shorts and add a cardigan or jacket!

As you can probably tell I am a HUGE fan of leopard print in any color. Leopard print has the ability to totally transform a basic and make you look insta chic.

You can grab this tee for under $12 with code SWEET right now.

Fit tip: I am wearing a small and always go for a small in medium in tops. If they had had a size medium in stock at the store, I may have grabbed that one instead. But the size small is great for layering under cardigans because it isn’t bunchy or bulky.

Look #4

I wore this dress by itself in my first weekly outfit recap, where I knotted it at the bottom to give it more pizazz. This time, I decided to layer on a knotted graphic tee! I enjoy styling items in my wardrobe in different ways. It’s fun, and it saves money because it allows wardrobe items to wear different hats. (See what I did there? Lol)

I might as well just change my middle name to Leopard at this point. These leggings are sooo buttery soft. They are a fall wardrobe must-have.

My fleece tunic is ah-mazing. It is extremely soft, covers my behind in leggings, and has POCKETS. You can also purchase it in grey.

Fit tip: I bought a medium in the fleece for a roomier fit. I have super long arms, and the sleeves are a little short on me, so I rolled them. But I do that a ton with long sleeves.

Look #6

This outfit is a prime example of what to wear for date night when you don’t know what to wear!

My husband and I went out to dinner Saturday night for our 12th wedding anniversary. In my closet, I either have extremely casual everyday outfits or extremely formal outfits. I need some middle ground, for sure!

Since I was in a rush, I just grabbed my favorite things and slapped them together… blush pink, leopard print, and denim. It’s so so important to have wardrobe basics that you love and can mix and match in a pinch!

These looks are so adorable! I really love the leopard print options you included. Those leopard print leggings are to die for!

  2. I think you’re doing a great job creating cute transitional outfits. You made layers work without making your ensemble too warm! Love them all!
