Recently, I have realized that there are quite a few makeup products I could never live without again. These are items that really make me feel pretty, have great quality, and are simple to use. Who wouldn’t want makeup products like that?! You’ll have to let me know if you’ve tried any of these! Do you have any mandatory makeup products in your stash??

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter
For years, I used the Clinique Chubby Stick highlighter and thought it was the best thing ever. But for Christmas last year, my hubby surprised me with the Mac Nutcracker Sweet Bronze Pigment and Glitter Kit. This just opened up for me a whole new world of highlighters that weren’t liquids and weren’t sticks. Once I saw how I could make my features sparkle with the bronze pigments, I knew I had to expand my collection.
Years ago, I appeared on QVC to model BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter, and while I loved it, I hadn’t previously used any type of highlighter. Maybe it wasn’t really a trend yet? Or I was crazy? Maybe a little bit of both haha. And then a few months ago, I chose to receive a sample of BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Opal with my Sephora order. The first time I used it, I was in LOOOOVE.
It’s so easy to apply and blends like a DREAM. I cannot tell you how many times people have complimented my skin in my Instagram photos, and I owe it all to this makeup product.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Concealer + Treatment
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Concealer + Treatment is necessary for faking my peepers and my face awake. I won’t leave the house without wearing this unless there is some catastrophic emergency. It’s the best under-eye concealer I have ever used, as the slight yellow tone instantly brightens my look. Plus, the formula isn’t too sticky or too slippery, and it blends flawlessly with my foundation of choice. It’s a thatswhatsup must!
Too Faced Natural Eyes Neutral Eye Shadow Collection
This is my first ever Too Faced palette, and it was an impulse buy. I have always gravitated towards neutral eyeshadow shades because they are super easy to use and look great against my skin. This has turned out to be some of the best makeup I have ever owned! I love an impulse buy that I don’t regret.
Some shades are matte, while other colors are shimmery, and the range if neutral colors is just right. This palette has some really light and really dark shades for easy layering, and you can totally wear some of the shades completely on their own! Plus, there is little to no fall-out, the pigmentation is spectacular, and the formula is dreamily blendable. (Shop it here!)
Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara
Since we are talking about eye makeup, let me tell you about the best mascara EVER. I know everyone is all about the Too Faced Better Than Sex, and while I liked it at first (Read about my initial experience with it HERE.), I gradually learned that it was, in fact, no where near as good as my holy grail: Chanel Inimitable Intense.
This mascara lasts me at least 3 months, it doesn’t flake, and all it takes is one quick and easy pass over both sets of lashes. I have been using this gem for probably 10 years, and I won’t sway, except occasionally for this dupe.
NYX Tinted Brow Mascara
NYX Tinted Brow Mascara is super affordable. But aside from that, it has superb pigmentation (even for my sparse brows), and the brush size and shape is suitable for my skinny-ish brows. I have tried some brow formulas before that are too messy or not the right shade or something else. But this one fits the bill!
I plan on featuring this brow fix in an upcoming makeup tutorial, so stay tuned if you want to see it in action! (Be sure to subscribe to my newsletter!) Also, this makeup product is one of the 8 drugstore makeup products I will always repurchase.
LipSense Long-Lasting Lip Color
While I am not a fan of the long-lasting matte lip colors, this LipSense product is a total game-changer for me. After I apply it, the color lasts ALL. DAY. Now do I wear this makeup product every single day? No! But it is a total must for nights out because it doesn’t budge, which means you’ll have to keep track of your wine glass. No more relying on your lipstick print! And if I was still in the workforce, I guarantee you I would be wearing this every day. Read all about my LipSense experience and see the color I chose!
Neutrogrena MoistureSmooth Color Stick
When I am not wearing LipSense, I am most likely reaching for the Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick. It allows me to have moisturized, healthy lips with the idea amount of color, all in one swipe! I have it in Pink Nude and Almond Nude. Can you tell I have a type? Ha!
