Stunning 30-Piece Casual Chic Fall Capsule Wardrobe from Amazon

Whenever I need something, whether it’s a craft for the kids, a new pullover, a Keurig, home decor, beauty products, etc., I RUN to my Amazon app! While I love places like Target, Walmart, and fashion retailers such as American Eagle and Nordstrom, I canNOT imagine my life without Amazon.

I own and love so many fashion items from Amazon. I could create an entire wardrobe from Amazon alone! So I decided to curate this 30-piece casual chic wardrobe (If you end up trying this, please use my branded hashtag #stayCHIComfy on social media!) specifically for fall, my fave season for style. As I get older, I only want to have pieces in my wardrobe that I really love and can wear again and again!

What is a capsule wardrobe?

A capsule wardrobe is a collection of mostly neutral pieces. Because the fashion items are classic and neutral, a person can throw and go: She can throw on any item with another, because all the components of a capsule wardrobe are interchangeable!

Why do a capsule wardrobe?

If you’re a busy mom of littles, you need to do a capsule wardrobe! It will totally make your life easier, save you time and brainpower, and get you out of the sweats you had since college. This will make you feel more put-together and boost your confidence!

Utilizing a capsule wardrobe reduces waste by enabling you to edit your wardrobe to only items you love and wear. By using a capsule wardrobe, you eliminate the need to order things you really don’t love. In turn, you save resources and money! Plus, you also save space in your closet and dressers and cut your laundry loads in half!

Because you have a collection of ready-to-style items, you never have to not know what to wear, which reduces stress and anxiety. Yes, please!

Lastly, dressing from a capsule wardrobe almost forces you to put pieces together that you wouldn’t have otherwise combined! Because pieces are limited, but you have items from every category, you can totally be more creative and outgoing with certain looks. (For example, try wearing a fedora with joggers and booties!)

The 30-piece wardrobe + Shopping List

My lifestyle as a stay-at-home mom calls for lots of casual, yet cute outfits. I chose pieces for this wardrobe that you can easily mix and match!

While I stopped creating after the 10th outfit, I’m pretty sure I could have gotten to 20! The key to a capsule wardrobe is finding not-so-basic basics so that you can dress effortlessly in the morning. And having neutral-ish accessories is a must! If you dress in at least one thing from each of the following categories, you will create a masterpiece!

Tip: You may even have most of these items in your current wardrobe. Be sure to clean out and organize your items before purchasing new.

Fall outerwear

Where I live on the East Coast, fall is pretty mild. I included light outerwear for layering, but if you live up north, you may need a heavier jacket (such as a trench) as well.

  • a denim jacket (not cropped)
  • long neutral cardigan
  • a thermal turtleneck tunic

A small variety of shoes

  • white sneakers
  • knee-high black boots
  • brown booties

bottoms and dresses

  • ripped (but not destroyed) skinny jeans (You could also do jeans free of holes if you go out to a lot of dinners and such, but I like my jeans to have holes in them.)
  • knee-length denim pencil skirt (This length is classy.)
  • black leggings (I own these, and they are like butter!)
  • joggers for lounging or super casual days
  • black cotton sheath dress

Tees, Tanks, Camis

  • basic henley tank (form-fitting)
  • band tee
  • basic white v-neck tee
  • animal print cami
  • basic striped tee

Different kinds of bags

  • a neutral crossbody bag
  • a black/dressier crossbody bag
  • chic mini-ish backpack

Belts

  • brown, black, and animal print

Jewelry

  • 2 Alex + Ani gold-toned bangles (They are pretty and super versatile- go with everything!)
  • 2 necklaces that you can layer or wear alone
  • 1 pair of fashion-forward (but not too loud) earrings- These asymmetrical earrings by Gorjana are gorgeous and definitely a conversation starter.
  • 1 pair of neutral stud earrings
  • Throw in your go-to watch!

Final Thoughts

As you can see, I have not completely exhausted all outfit options for this 30-piece capsule wardrobe. And I love each outfit as much as the next! This is why capsule wardrobes work.

If you have a different lifestyle than me, say a 9-5 desk job (blazers and trousers), you may not necessarily need an entire casual chic capsule wardrobe, but it might help you on on weekends and days off! Also, hopefully this guide has helped you understand how to create a 30-piece capsule wardrobe to fit your unique lifestyle!

Lastly, don’t count out Amazon as a fashion retailer. They carry a wide selection of chic pieces in any price range

Which of these outfits would you first wear?
