Weekly Outfit Recap #7
Now that the temps have finally dropped, I can get more creative with my outfits. This week, I am sharing a mix of fall and summer-ish outfits, because we had a few hot days. However, you can easily transform any summer-ish outfits into fall outfits with layers and different shoes! Let’s get to it!

Outfit #1

This is the third time I have featured this leopard dress on my blog! (See it on me without the added tee here.) It’s under $20 and super versatile. You can wear it in spring, summer, and fall! (I knotted it, but you wouldn’t have to!)
I’m carrying my favorite mini backpack of all time! If you haven’t tried an MZ Wallace bag yet, you are truly missing out. I have had this for a year, and I keep going back to it! You can even throw it in the wash!
Fit tips: The jersey dress fits slightly on the small side (unless you want it to be a little more form-fitting). Although I never even tried on the small (I teeter between smalls and mediums.), I am very happy with the medium. Note: The arm openings are a little large by design, so you either need to wear a bralette or cami underneath, or a tee, cardigan, or pullover on top.
Outfit #2

This funnelneck sweater screams fall! The color is so vibrant! I wore it to go pumpkin picking and added my olive green leggings to truly take on the pumpkin spirit! It’s on sale for under $30 right now and also comes in gold and neutral stripe.
My leggings are from last year and are no longer available, but I linked a very similar option above.
Fit tips: I bought a medium because I don’t like to have my sweaters very fitted. I didn’t try the small, but I am really happy with the medium.
Fun fact: One of my 5 year old daughters took the pumpkin patch photos of me!
Outfit #3

I’m a Friends addict and not ashamed to admit it! The instant I saw these comfy joggers and “pivot” hoodie (love Ross Geller!), I knew I was buying it. Get used to seeing me in it on Instagram!
Fit tips: I bought a medium in both. I love the way the hoodie fits, but the pants are a little large around my waist. Thankfully, the drawstring makes them work, because a small would have been a better fit for me. Note: These joggers are not high-waisted.
Outfit #4

I had the pleasure of helping my local Ann Taylor with a Ladies’ Night event that benefited breast cancer research. While I took home many more Ann Taylor outfits, I ultimately chose to wear this one the night of the event.
The leopard pleated midi skirt is faux suede and will become a fall and winter staple in my wardrobe. The chunky cream turtleneck is so cozy and perfect, with pretty knitting details and dark flecks. And the booties! I am in LOVE. However, the store did not have my size in store (I wear a 10 or 11). The pair I am showcasing above were a 9.5, but they were too tight on my toes. I actually thought about trying to swing them, but I knew it wasn’t the right decision for my feet. Luckily, someone is enjoying them, because they were gone shortly after I tried them on!
Fit tips: The skirt and the sweater both run true-to-size. I am wearing a small in the sweater and 4 in the skirt. If you juggle between two sizes a lot, go with your smaller option.
Outfit #5

How cute is this leopard pullover!?! It’s part of a substantial fall Amazon haul. My jeans are from last year, but I linked similar ones above.
Fit tips: I bought a medium and thought the pullover would be more oversized. Everyone tells me it looks oversized enough, but I wish I had bought a large. Keep this in mind as you choose the size that’s best for you.
Outfit #6

Happy 90th birthday to my Grandma!! We had a birthday lunch for her, and my cousin and I donned the same cat-inspired Kate Spade bag! She had seen it on my blog last year and gotten one for herself. Can you blame her?! It’s adorable! (My cousin’s nickname is even Kitty! Meow!)
I wore the jumpsuit and cardigan combo the entire day, and I was comfortable enough to successfully achieve my mom duties. I highly recommend the jumpsuit. It’s really soft and the color is so pretty!
The leopard cardigan is soooo comfy (Do I wear anything that isn’t?!) and has pockets! It was also part of my fall Amazon haul.
Fit tips: I bought a medium in the jumpsuit and am happy with the fit. I’m tall and the small looked like it would be too short on me. The cardigan and espadrilles run TTS. (Follow the size guide for the cardigan. I got the smallest size).
Outfit #7

And last, but not least, I’ve got a cozy Sunday outfit! I found the pullover at Walmart, but I cannot find it online for you. So I linked similar cute options above!
My leggings are a go-to for me! I love lululemon because their leggings are high-waisted and seem to hold me in in places I need it most.
Fit tips: Size down in the leggings if you want them to be a second skin. I am wearing a small. (I never tried on a larger size, so I am not sure how the medium would compare.)
