How to Create a Vision Board with Printiki Photos
“You are worth printing.” That is Printiki’s slogan. Those four little words inspired me to create a vision board with Printiki photos.
I am the worst at printing photos. I take hundreds of photos of my children, my family, my cat…some with my iPhone, some with our Nikon. About 1% of those photos do not see the light of day! It is such a SHAME. I mean, I would love to look at photos of my kids by my bedside before drifting asleep each night. That is where Printiki comes in.

Printiki is a website that lets you easily print photos from any device. You can even print photos from your social media accounts! How many of you only upload your absolute favorite photos to Instagram and Facebook? I know I do! So if you use Printiki, your social media accounts can help you basically eliminate your search for good photos on your device, and if you’ve got thousands of photos on your iPhone like me, this is a major time-saver! No more looking for needles in a haystack. The dreaded photo search and edit is so daunting and is the number 1 reason I never print photos.

Upload photos from your phone or camera, or choose photos directly from your Instagram or Facebook accounts. You can also use Dropbox, One Drive, and G+.
One of my favorite things about Printiki is its range of photo styles. There are so many sizes and styles to choose from, plus, you can create photo books and posters! I chose to print retro square photos with a matte finish for my vision board. I dig that whole Polaroid vibe, and you can even add captions! But in the future, when I print family photos, I will probably go for a more a more traditional choice. (Bonus: Printiki ships worldwide!)
In addition to using my favorite photos from my Instagram page, I created some images on Canva using some of my favorite quotes and inspirational sayings. I even found my very first blog header that I used before I became self-hosted so that I could always see how far I’ve come. It was so easy to save the images on my computer and upload them to Printiki. They turned out so cute and are perfect for my vision board!

The Printiki website is super navigable. I created an account rather than check out as a guest so that the system would save my work on various projects and store my uploads. Since most of the photos I wanted for my vision/inspiration board were from my Instagram, I did not choose to sync my Facebook account. However, I love knowing I can connect Facebook in the future, because a lot of my high-quality family photos are on my personal FB page! I cannot wait to use Printiki to print photos and photo books of my family. In the photo below, you can see all of the photos I decided to print.

Prinitki sent my photos in no time! And they looked beautiful and in perfect condition.
While the photos were in transit, I purchased a Sweet Jojo Designs Memo Board and some pretty stickers, paper flowers, and sticky notes from Target Dollar Spot. (I can’t be the only one who could spend hours in that section.) I only wish I had purchased a larger board, because I couldn’t fit my 30 photos on the 14 x 14 inch board. But at least now I can create a second one for another space in the house or switch out the photos in the one I have.

So many choices!
Alright. So I settled on Instagram photos that really did well or that I thought would inspire me to get out of my photography DIY comfort zone + 5 inspirational quotes and sayings. Here is the finished board situated at my working space. What do you think?
I really hope to purchase a second memo board or a larger one or simply switch out the photos on this board once in a while. But it never hurts to have more inspiration and motivation in different places of my home. I figure I can’t feel shy about printing photos of my accomplishments if they keep me motivated! I plan to keep the colors bright and fun on any vision board I create in the future because they make me happy! Check out this article on the benefits of creating a vision board if you are on the fence about creating one.

I really love this idea. I am always thinking about the lack of photos around my house even though my phone is full of them x
Same here! And the great thing is that you don’t have to take a flash drive somewhere to print the photos and wait to pick them up. Printiki is the best!
I totally need to check out the site! Your pictures turned out gorgeous love!! A vision board is such a great idea! I really need to create one!

Thank you! The photos are such a good quality. I was really impressed! I guess it is not really a true vision board because I have older pictures on it, but it is more of a guidance and reassurance board. Glad you like it!
Still it looks gorgeous!!
This is so cute! I’ve wanted to create a vision board for a long time and I’ll definitely keep this site in mind when I finally start one! Thanks for sharing 🙂
I am so glad you like it! It is not a vision board in the traditional sense, but it is a vision board to me. xo
Thank you! I guess this board is more of a reassurance and guidance board, since it has photos from the past, but they are photos that did well and inspire me to keep going. Plus, I added the quotes. You should definitely try it! You could mix in some photos and quotes from magazines.
It looks cute, i would love to create one.

You definitely should! It’s good for your soul!
Okay wow this is amazing!!! I’m obsessive over the Polaroid looking photos but I wanted a way to print “Polaroid” pictures without actually having a polaroid camera lol so this is perfect! My boyfriend was even like I’m sure there’s places online you can go to print photos (that you know are already good so youre not wasting film) and here is my answer right in this blog post! YES!!
xo, JJ
Oh my goodness, I am the same way! I love the Polaroid look- I even thought about trying to buy a Polaroid camera…I wasn’t sure if they still made something like them or what. But now I don’t have to! I back this brand 100%- Their site is easy to use, and I love the way the photos turned out. (And no, I am not affiliated haha.) I just really like their service!
