Hey, everyone! Today, I am sharing a simple pastel makeup look tutorial. The look accidentally came about while I was experimenting with my Sugar Sweet Enchantress Eyeshadow Palette. The purple shades were speaking to me, but since I usually go for earth tones, I wasn’t really thinking I would like the end result. But I loved it! It’s definitely a look I will be throwing into the go-to mix, and it’s not just for spring and summer. I’ve provided a a detailed eyeshadow tutorial and full list of products below. The look can easily be recreated with an eyeshadow palette of similar shades, like this Makeup Revolution palette. Do you have a favorite palette? I would love to hear about it!
- Cover entire eyelid (up to brow bone) with Allure
- Dab Candy on the center of eyelid.
- Sweep Captivate in the crease. Even though this shade is dark, I didn’t want to use the flat end of the applicator because the color would have appeared too concentrated for this look.
- Blend Intrigue in the crease and upward.
Foundation- Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
Undereye concealer- Maybeline Instant Age Rewind
Blush- L’Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Blush in Spiced Plum
Highlighter- Clinique Chubby Stick in Hefty Highlight (applied above blush line, on temples, below peaks of eyebrows, down the middle of my nose, and on Cupid’s bow )
Powder- NYX Set It & Don’t Fret It (applied to t-zone)
Eyeliner- Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner in Pitch Black
Mascara- Chanel Initmanble Intense
I am seriously in love with this eyeshadow palette. It was an impulse buy (which I got for FREE at Kohl’s with Kohl’s Cash!), but it’s a total goldmine in terms of quality and versatility. Plus, I love sparkle! It’s perfect for a pastel makeup look. When I feel like I need to brighten things up, I will head for this routine.
That’s what’s up in beauty today. Eyeshadow can really inspire your entire face, can’t it? Which type of makeup do you guys like to experiment with the most? Thanks for stopping by!
