Easy Taylor Swift Eras Tour Movie Outfit Inspo

In this post, you will find Taylor Swift Eras Tour movie outfit inspo. I went to the movie over the weekend, and I dressed in a Lover outfit. It is comfortable, girly, and easy to recreate!

I was disappointed to miss the actual Eras Tour, but we sat in the front row for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour Film, and it was incredible. We saw every detail up close and personal. My daughter said Taylor was looking right at her!

Of course, I used this fun outing as an excuse to go all out with my outfit while maintaining comfort. I didn’t feel like wearing a sparkly dress to lounge at the movie theater.

While I love all of her albums, I chose to dress for her Lover album. I was drawn to the colorfulness and feminine details. In this post, you will see head-to-toe outfit inspiration (including hair, nails, and makeup!) to get you into character for Lover.

You bet you can go all out with lots of pink and girly details! Lover is one of my favorite albums of Taylor’s, with its bubblegum pop catchiness and girl-power lyrics. And I enjoy listening to the happier times in Taylor’s love story, when she was dating longtime love Joe Alwyn.

Makeup

To really emulate the Lover era, you cannot be shy with the girliness. Let your inner child shine with glittery makeup, rhinestones, and pink lips. You could also opt to go with the classic red lip, per usual Taylor style, but I do think pink (Here is the exact lipstick I used.) is the better choice here.

And of course, you can’t live in Taylor’s world without a good swipe of eyeliner!

Hair

Had it not been pouring rain, I would have worn my hair down with soft curls and a little pastel spray on the ends. But the weather just did not cooperate.

To add feminine touches to an otherwise ordinary ‘do, I slipped on a velvet pearl headband and held my hair up with flower and heart clips.

Jewelry

Pile it on, girlfriend! Reach for any jewelry that has hearts, pearls, and/or sparkles. And if you have friendship bracelets, add them, too! You can even create your own and trade them with others at the movie!

Clothes

I wanted to keep the outfit comfortable, since I was going to be lounging in a movie theater for 3 hours, eating fries, popcorn, and candy. Luckily, I found this super soft and comfy pink and purple cardigan at TJ Maxx the week before!

Unfortunately, I cannot find the cardigan online, but I found lots of other options you will love! (See them below.)

Feel free to sport a great pair of jeans or comfy pink joggers (You will be in a comfortable recliner at the movies, afterall! Here are the exact flare jeans I’m wearing! And Converse are the best option regarding footwear for a Lover-era outfit, but you could also choose Chelsea or combat-style boots to offset all the feminine details.

Nails

Since I do my nails myself, I searched Pinterest for nail inspo I could easily pull off. If I had had more time, I would have tried something more complex or with nail art. With that being said, I think I nailed it with these Lover nails.

The cover of Lover is filled with cotton candy hues such as sky blue, purples, pinks, and yellow. And of course, the title is written in a sparkly purplish pink, which I nodded to on my pinky nail.

You can easily recreate this Eras Tour outfit. It’s comfortable, and you can rewear the pieces again and again. The makeup and nails are super fun and happy, too! If Lover isn’t your favorite album, you can go edgy and dark for Reputation or full-on fall with plaid and chunky knits for Evermore. Hmmm… Maybe I’ll have to go back to the show dressed for a different era!! I had way too much fun! 🫶🏻
