4 Casual and Comfy Chic Outfits with a White Tee

It’s no secret that I’ve recently become a HUGE fan of Aerie. I can’t get enough of the soft fabrics, cute patterns, and oversized tops. Aerie is my go-to brand for everyday wear, including loungewear. Because let’s face it… I don’t go many places these days. And since I stay home with my two little girls day in and day out, I’m happiest in cute loungewear. #stayCHIComfy

I like to base my CHIComfy outfits around an awesome white tee. (You can never have too many.) Let me show you how easy it is to create comfy chic outfits when you have a great white tee on hand!

My criteria for the ideal white tee

scoop or v-neck
oversized
not too thick or too thin
slightly distressed

Don’t get me wrong. There is a time and a place for crew neck tees or cropped tees. However, I do not find them to be super comfortable, and they really accentuate my already large bust, which I don’t need while I’m in the comforts of my own home. Plus, I just feel that with my body shape (I’m tall with somewhat broad shoulders and slender legs.), I don’t necessarily gravitate towards crew necks in the first place.

This particular white tee has a “voop” neck, which is a cross between v-neck and scoop neck. Aerie tees run large, so I always order a small!

First Outfit- Knotted white tee & cozy joggers

These. Joggers. All I can say is ooh la la! They are SOOOOO soft and also come in charcoal heather, dark heather gray, and heather frost.

Because the white tee is so long, I knotted it to avoid looking and feeling sloppy or frumpy. (I do realize I need to invest in some cozy footwear for the house!)

Tip: While I purchase size small in Aerie tops, I always buy a medium in Aerie bottoms.

Second Outfit- Tucked white tee & High-Waisted Lounge Short

I knew these animal print lounge shorts should would sell quickly, so I ordered a pair as soon as I noticed them on the site! Right now, sizes are limited, but be sure to check back. Aerie items tend to get restocked (but sell quickly).

I tucked in the boyfriend tee this time to keep my shape!

Third outfit- high-waisted camo leggings & white tee

I have found my new go-to brand for cute and comfy high-waisted leggings. These camo print leggings are affordable and come in short and tall! I got a size medium with tall length (I’m 5’9″.), and they actually reach my ankles. Yippee!! And these come in multiple other prints, so be sure to give them a look. I LOVE them.

Because the leggings are form-fitting, I chose to wear the boyfriend tee as-is. But I may consider a center knot in the future, as well!

fourth outfit- knotted white tee with soft lettuce edge pajama shorts

I bought the matching top with these shorts (pictured below) with the intention of wearing them with other tops and tees as well. The shorts are technically pajamas, but I would totally wear them outside!

The pink stripe combo sold out in a flash, but there are many other colors to choose from!
