Cute and Flattering Beach Outfit

Since I’m stuck here dreaming of the beach (I don’t think we will get there this summer), I put together a fantasy beach outfit I would love to wear! It works for the pool, as well! Plus, this beach look would work on any body type!

1. Striped Straw Cloche Hat

Gone are the days I forwent sunglasses or a sunhat. I wish I could go back in time! I spent countless hours squinting because I didn’t want to lose my sunglasses or because they were always dirty, and hats weren’t really a thing when I was a teen. But now I have the eyebrow wrinkles to prove that they SHOULD have been a thing. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a fashionable sunhat. I LOVE this one because the brim isn’t too big, and it has a cinch inside to adjust it! ($14.99)

2. Tie-front animal print kimono

Leopard print goes with everything, but if animal print isn’t your thing, this kimono also comes in a sheer black. I love that you can tie it to keep it more secure on walks! ($39.00)

3. Sunray Hoop Earrings

I used to skip the earrings at the beach, also. Why?! How boring was I?! Keep them lightweight, and you’re chic snd comfortable! #stayCHIComfy (Did you know? Use my hashtag on Instagram so I can see your comfy, chic looks!) These lightweight earrings tick all the boxes, and come in 2 sizes. (Starting at $17.00)

4. Round Sunglasses

I love that these sunglasses are round with a hint of cat-eye. This makes the shape more approachable! I think these sunglasses would look good on most face shapes, and they also come in a muslin version. (on sale for $11.99)

5. Halter Braid Macrame Ruched One-Piece Swimsuit

Give me all the ruching in the tummy area. No matter what shape or size we are, we all have insecurities. And shape wear helps us be more confident! This halter swimsuit has built-in support and has super chic details on the back. Plus, you can never go wrong with black! It comes in a multitude of colors if you’re feeling bolder! The leopard cover-up above looks great next to any hue. ($21.99)

6. All-Weather Bangles

I have these bangles in rose gold, and they are my absolute favorite bracelets. I can’t say enough good about them. They are lightweight, weather-proof (You don’t have to worry about taking them off before a dip!), and comfortable. Like, I think I need the gold ones, too. You need them. ($120 for a set of 9)

7. Natural Jute Backpack

Sometimes I prefer a backpack, so I included this adorable natural jute backpack with leather straps. How cute is it?! Love the top-handle, too. ($39.99) UPDATE: I just noticed this particular backpack is sold out. Here is a similar option! You can also find lots of great straw backpacks on Etsy.

8. Open Knit Tote Bag

Tote bags, though, are a must for summer, and this handmade macrame tote bag is super cute. The black makes it so unique! It’s unexpected and cute. (on sale for $17.99)

9. Cushion Slide Sandal

You always need some sort of slides at the beach or pool for ease, and these slides totally upgrade your usual flip flops. Plus, they have major cushion, and the wedge style makes them classically trendy. ($49.99)

Don’t mind if I put on this entire beach outfit to lounge in my backyard!
