What I Wore on Thanksgiving: Splurge vs. Save

I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving!  Ours was quiet and fun, and the food was delicious.  I am obsessed with the stuffing from inside of the turkey.  Some people hate it, but I love it!  How about you??  Anyway, I thought I would share my Thanksgiving outfit, along with a way to save hundreds of dollars on the look!  Would you like to see more splurge vs. save posts in the future?

Cozy Fall and Winter Outfit

Yes, I wore this outfit on Thanksgiving, but I will continue to wear it throughout fall and winter!  The cozy tunic sweater  is sooo comfortable, and the leggings have lots of give, which means I can eat lots of holiday food!

However, I could have scored this cute fall outfit for way less!  While the leggings are the same in both looks (only $20!!), everything else is way cheaper.  I do love my tall brown riding boots, but it is clear to me that you definitely don’t need to spend that much on boots.  With that being said, the $149.50 was money well-spent.

The outfit ideas with these pieces are endless.

When you invest (or save!) on awesome basics like these, the outfit ideas are endless.  You can wear the tunic turtleneck with jeans or a pleated skirt, and can you ever have too many pairs of leggings?  Be sure the boots fit well and are comfortable, and you’ve got a lasting, stylish shoe that you can wear with just about any fall or winter outfit.

What pieces are in your go-to fall and winter outfits?
