It’s no secret that I’m a skincare girl. I really enjoy testing out new products and ingredients! And anyone who knows me personally knows that I am kind of a clean freak. Well, I’m no different when it comes to my skin! (I’m also one of those people who washes her hair every single day.) Right now, the skincare product I use to start and end my day is Peter Thomas Roth #WaterDrench Cloud Cream Cleanser.
So at first, I thought this cleanser had the word “cloud” in its name because it feels so soft while I am applying it. But, no. Get this. It contains pure water vapor drawn from the clouds! How’s that for hydration?!
Here are some more tidbits about the formula:
- ultra-gentle (but still deep-cleanses)
- contains Hyaluronic Acid, which is all the rage right now! Total fountain of youth! HA retains up to 1,000 times its weight in water from moisture in the atmosphere.
- Sodium PCA and Coconut Oil to nourish
- Marshmallow Root Extract to soften and smooth
My Thoughts and Experience
I need to start each day with a clean slate. But I don’t like cleansers that leave my skin too squeaky clean. Then I’m stuck piling on the creams and moisturizers, which leads to always needing a blotting sheet. Annoying!
This Peter Thomas Roth #WaterDrench Cloud Cream Cleanser leaves my skin perfectly balanced. I don’t need a lot of serum and moisturizer, which makes for an effective canvas for makeup! And you know what? Because of that, I’ve shaved a few minutes off my morning makeup routine. I’ll take it!
And at the end of the day, smoothing on this creamy, soft cleanser is so soothing and makes removing my makeup almost relaxing! It even dissolves my mascara. (I don’t wear the waterproof kind.)
My skin is soft day and night, with the help of this Peter Thomas Roth facial cleanser. I really love it!! I can always use a little extra radiance, especially when I am running low on Zzzs. You, can, too! Browse and/or purchase here.
That’s what’s up in beauty. What’s your current facial cleanser?
