Welcome back to Wardrobe Wednesday. Fall fashion trends of 2017 are so on point! What a great year for fashion. I love all of the pleated midi skirts, metallic pieces, velvet, and flowy florals. Not to mention the leopard boom! But you don’t have to buy these trends are designer prices.
I have two trendy looks to show you. Can you guess which of these is the look for less??
Look #1- Velvet + Floral Crush
The look on the left (just the two tops and the skirt) totals up to $340. The look on the right is a mere $59.97!! You can click each item in the image above for more price details. Check out the look for less on me! Floral Textured Skirt // striped elbow turtleneck // lace trim velvet cami // similar Charming Charlie necklace // Daniel Wellington watch // Rebecca Minkoff crossbody bag // Nine West kitten heel sandals
Look #2- Metallic Pleated Skirt
The pieces on the right win, here! Click the items in the image above for more information. The look on the left totals up to be $356, while the look on the right is only $54.99! I don’t think I’m wrong in saying both sides look equally chic! Here I am in the look for less.
metallic pleated skirt // Converse sneakers // similar white tee // similar Burberry bag // hoop earrings // Daniel Wellington watch // Alex and Ani bracelets here and here // similar choker (under $7!!)
I didn’t pair a jacket with this outfit because it was super hot outside! I wasn’t even thinking about a jacket. But one like this(It’s on sale for $55.99!!) would really complete the look! Also, my tee is actually by Free People, but I had gotten it at a really low price at Marshalls.
The Bottom Line
I personally do not think that because the items I’m wearing are less expensive that they are of inferior quality. So don’t worry about that! When purchasing something relatively inexpensive, just make sure it looks like the threads are in tact and that the item would hold up well in the washing machine. And most importantly, make sure it’s comfortable!
