It’s not always a terrible thing when you forget your lip products at home, even if you love all of them. On Saturday, I was out with my mom and my daughters. We had picked up a bite for breakfast, and after, I went to grab some lip goodies from my bag. Gasp! They were all MIA! I had applied balm before I had left but never placed it into my bag, and my lipsticks and glosses tend to float around the house (blogger hazard haha). Well, I am one of those people who always needs at least balm on her lips, so how convenient was it that the first boutique I came to had an amazing array of cosmetics and clothing? Thank goodness the Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Collection jumped off the display to greet me!
It took me all of 60 seconds to decide which of these lovely Bare Minerals glosses to purchase. I went with a peachy nude shade called Show Off. I figured I couldn’t go wrong with a shade that was, number 1, called Show Off, and number 2, a nude color. I’ve linked my YouTube video below, but I have since kind of skirted away from vlogging (This is a revived archive post.) You can also just simply read my review below.
What I love (I dislike nothing):
- the subtle sparkles
- the peachy shade
- the doe-tail applicator
- the plumping effects
- the tingly feeling
- the lasting-effects…hours and hours
- how moisturized it leaves my lips
- the shine
- Need I go on??

See why I am glad I forgot my other lip products at home? I am so glad I discovered this collection, and you really can’t have too many lip products. They all have something a little bit different to offer than the next, which keeps it interesting (and provides a substantial reason to keep buying new ones 🙂 ).
When this gloss runs out, I will most definitely be buying another. It seems as though it will last me a while, since I only have to reapply after eating. I give this product an A+!
That’s what’s up in beauty today. Have you ever forgotten to take along your lipsticks on an outing? If so, what did you do? Did you purchase a new lip product? If so, was the purchase successful?
Let’s stay in touch!
