I love sweater weather! So it’s no surprise that I am currently crazy about sweaters. I have rounded up all of my favorite new sweaters that I am wearing for the 2016-2017 sweater season. They are stylish, soft, and comfortable, which means none of them itch! I HATE itchy sweaters. I don’t care how pretty they are. Also, all of these sweaters are super affordable.
Here we go!
LC Lauren Conrad Boxy Scoopneck Sweater
This is the first of a bunch of LC Lauren Conrad sweaters. She’s really got this sweater thing down! I wore this outfit to host Thanksgiving. This one is 100 % acrylic, so it’s super soft, and it has gorgeous details: bell-like sleeves, shiny embellishments, and a sheer ribbon tie. I love some sass in the back! LC is all about bows in the back. That’s one of the reasons I keep going back for more of her items!

LC Lauren Conrad Open-Knit Crewneck Sweater
This sweater is unbelievably soft, and it has such dainty detailing. The voluminous cut of the sleeves is so unique, and the open-knit construction punctuates a delicate look. I am wearing a black tank underneath, and I decided to go all-black with the booties and leggings. I softened up the look with a gemstone collar necklace. Psst…This sweater is half-price right now!
LC Lauren Conrad Tunic Sweater with Ruffle
I love the length of this tunic sweater and the ruffle on the bottom. It makes for a really easy-to-put-together feminine, comfortable outfit. It doesn’t get more comfortable or effortless than this! I added a level of unexpectedness with burgundy leggings and Converse. (Converse are always a good idea.) Unfortunately, this exact sweater is sold out, but I’ve linked a similar one below.
LC Lauren Conrad Cableknit Boatneck Sweater
This is the definition of cozy and chic right here, folks. Again, this sweater is super soft, and the bell-like shape to the sleeves sets it apart from your usual cableknit sweater. Plus, it has ruffle cable detailing on the front. This sweater will surely keep you cozy all winter long, and you can even wear it to a holiday gathering!
Onto the non-LC sweaters!
Can we talk about how perfect the length of this sweater is? How about how perfect the v-neck and side tie details are? I can’t get enough. This sweater is so cozy and comfortable, but it still looks put-together. This outfit took seconds to put on, so it is effortlessly chic and suitable for the everyday girl!
I scored this duster sweater at Marshall’s! (Read about my fall/winter haul.) Can we say soft? I seriously think this sweater list has to have on it the most comfortable sweaters ever created. Of course I am wearing leggings for this look. I can’t really imagine this outfit with any other type of pants. I kept the striped-theme going with a subtly striped Apt. 9 tee, and topped the look off with a tassel necklace I found at a surf shop this past summer.
I also found this cardigan at Marshall’s, and it had a red tag. Whatt???!! I paid $49.99, and it is originally (and currently) $129 in the link below. I wish I could link Marshall’s for you! Anyway, back to the sweater… Can you just feel how warm and cozy I feel in it? My only qualm is that it is dry clean only. But I can get a couple of wears out of it before sending it to the cleaners.
