My makeup favorites are forever evolving. I like to switch up certain products like lipstick and eyeshadow all the time, while I often stick with the same mascara and foundation for longer periods of time. I’ve recently encountered some awesome new makeup gems to freshen up my makeup bag. Today, I am going to share some makeup products I am currently crazy about and using on a regular basis!
This one blows my mind. Honestly, I was hoping to repurchase the e.l.f. BB Cream, because I loved it so much. But I was shopping in Target, and they didn’t have the shade I needed, so I went for this L’Oreal Studio Secrets Magic Skin Beautifier B.B. Cream instead. I cannot recommend it enough. This makeup is just what is says it is…magic. It appears white as you squeeze it from the tube, but it immediately matches your skin upon application. I was shocked at how easy was to blend and how well it matched my skin tone. Also, it moisturizes and covers imperfections, so I really don’t even miss my moisturizer/high-end foundation deal!
This is my current favorite nude gloss. The Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie collection definitely rivals Buxom Full-On Lip Polish, but I am crazy about this one. Its texture is the ideal blend of sticky and smooth, and the pleasant tingling lasts for hours. I already have quite substantial lips, but this lip polish makes my lips look and feel full-on voluptuous! See it with a smokey shadow look below.
I am becoming an eyeshadow hoarder…
LORAC Rose Gold PRO Metal Palette (Limited Edition)
I spotted this beaut at Nordstrom in the the clothing section and played “pick it up and put it back” about 4 times until I said, “Who am I kidding? I need this!” I’m sure you can see why. The sparkles and earth tones had me at hello, and can we talk about that bright blue?! Stunning.
Speaking of sparkles…
Sonia Kashuk Eye Shadow Quad in Shimmering Sands
Once that glitter caught my eye, the darn thing jumped off the shelf and right into my cart! With this eyeshadow quad, I can be natural and sparkly. This makeup is gorgeous, and I cannot wait to my looks with you in a future post.
I’ve linked you to Ulta, but I found this in-store at CVS. I was drawn to its specialization- a powder made for setting the makeup under the eyes. Previously, I was using my regular face-setting powder under my eyes, so I wasn’t sure if this would be any different. For $3, I decided it was worth a try. Money well-spent! It kept my makeup in place a lot longer and prevented any mascara drips. Plus, it is infused with vitamins to strengthen the skin. The only thing I don’t like about it is the stiff brush, but that’s an easy fix.
That’s what’s up in beauty today. I am actually currently crazy about festive lippies for the holidays as well, and you can check out my favorites. Do you have any relatively new makeup products that you are currently crazy about? I would love to hear about them. Let me know your thoughts below!
