Outfit: Beachy Boho

Hey, guys!  I’ve got a another summer outfit for you. Since I basically grew up at the beach, surfer style just automatically makes its way into my closet.  As a teen, surf shops were my main source of clothing.  If I am lucky enough to be in the vicinity of a surf shop these days, you can bet I will be collecting multiple pieces from it, while holding myself back from carrying one of everything to the register.

My outfit today resembles a look that can be found at a surf shop, but I actually found both the shorts and the top in Marshall’s. The top is made by Hollister, and I featured it in one of my very first blog posts, Spring Fashion Finds.  The cream lace with ruffle detail, along with the asymmetrical cut, really make the top special.  Plus, I can see this top layered in the fall with some chunky knits and paired with brown riding boots.

The shorts are designed by Free People, one of my staple brands.  They may be short, but the rugged cut and low-rise fit take any outfit to the next level.

I added bracelets but decided to forego a necklace so that he shirt could shine.  But I really think the possibilities are endless with this outfit.  Do you agree?

That’s what’s up in summer style today. Do you have a signature style, too?
