New Go-To Lipstick: Beautycounter Lip Sheer

Hey!  Happy National Lipstick Day!  This is just a quick little lipstick post.  The lipstick I am featuring just so happens to be my newest, but I love it so much that it I put it front and center for this celebratory day.  It is made by a brand called Beautycounter, which promises safer ingredients in your personal care and beauty products.  Major federal laws currently do not monitor the ingredients in personal care products.  Knowing that this product is safe (It’s free of parabens, retinol, and methylisothiazolinone, to name a few) makes me feel better about slathering it on my lips.

This gorgeous nude shade is called Twig, and it came as part of a summer duo with some neutral, shimmery shadow.  (I will be doing a longer post featuring the lipstick and the shadow together in the near future.)  Beautycounter dubs this lipstick a Lip Sheer with translucent color.  While it is sheer, it most definitely provides enough color to keep me happy!  It is actually the perfect balance-  It’s moisturizing and as smooth as butter while providing gorgeous natural shine and tint.  It’s not sticky in the slightest, and it feels simply luxurious!

I am new to this brand, and I had never heard of it before.  If I like the eyeshadow half as much as I like this Lip Sheer, I am in trouble haha!  If you are interested in purchasing this lipstick or another item from Beautycounter, you have to purchase through a consultant, which you can do HERE.

That’s what’s up and what’s in my purse today (and will be until every last useable speck is gone).  Thank you so much for reading.  Have a fab weekend!
