Hey, everyone! I hope you all had a smooth week. I am looking forward to the long weekend, especially since I get a short but necessary dinner date on Saturday.
If you couldn’t already tell from my blog photos and my Instagram account, I love the colors turquoise and coral. So, when I spotted this flowy, lace-trimmed tunic (pretty in and of itself- I expect nothing but pretty from Lauren Conrad!) and discovered that it came in a beautiful summery coral shade, it had to find a new home in my closet.
It’s an interesting outfit because the shorts I’m wearing underneath just barely peek out. And when I sit, you really can’t notice the shorts. So the top is basically like a shirt and dress in one (well, a reeaaaally short dress).
Cheerful and colorful jewelry perks up the even more. My beaded necklace is from Anthropologie, and the bracelets are by Lily and Laura. Lily and Laura is a fair trade company, and artisans from Nepal handcraft the bracelets with delicate glass beads. I already have 5 of them, and I am pretty sure I am not done yet- They are so gorgeous and unique! I love purchasing handmade, fair trade jewelry because it’a unique and pretty, and my purchasing it is giving talented artisans an opportunity for improved quality of life. If you are interested in purchasing them, here is the site: Lily and Laura.
This LC tunic top makes for a great summer outfit- It’s comfortable, chic, functional , and feminine. The embroidered lace trip will make you feel fancy on the most ordinary of days!
That’s what’s up in summer style today. Thanks for stopping by!
